Sonata’s body structure is technically highly
advanced. Completely computer designed and engineered,
the car makes use of different categories of steel
that would crumple at the front and rear in the
event of an impact-in order to absorb the energy-while
protecting the occupants in the center section.
Steel structures in the doors act as additional
side impact beams.

• It releases pressure of the tensed

injuries (due to seat belt tightening)
• Allows occupants to have cushioning of inflated
